- On your own account (free, Plus or Pro — new subscription, renewal or upgrade): the ChatGPT Pro 200 top-up for ¥1,300 (≈ 193.75 USDT), usually done in 5–30 minutes; your chat history stays put.
- Prefer a separate account, ready to use: a ready-made Pro 200 account for ¥1,349 (≈ 201.05 USDT), already active; hand-delivered after you verify your delivery email (the order page shows 30 minutes to about 4 hours); you can bind your own email.
- Need Ultrafast or the highest cap: Pro 500 on your own account for ¥3,599 or ready-made for ¥3,699.
First, the thing people get wrong: Pro 200 adds no features
This is the most common way to buy the wrong tier. Pro 100 ($100, formerly Pro 5x) and Pro 200 ($200) have the same feature set: GPT-6 Pro in chat, Deep Research, Agent Mode, Codex and ChatGPT Work, custom GPTs, image creation, memory, file uploads and a Dot, OpenAI’s always-on agent. OpenAI’s rule for the Pro tiers is simple: the features are the same and the allowance rises with the price; the one exception is Pro 500, which adds Ultrafast. The extra $100 for Pro 200 buys exactly one thing: allowance.
So the question is never “what can Pro 200 do that Pro 100 can’t”. It is “how many times a week does a limit stop my work”. The numbers below let you answer that against your own usage.
What changed on 30 September
- Pro 200 is on sale again. From 10 to 30 September 2026 OpenAI paused new sign-ups and upgrades to the $200 tier; on 30 September it reopened, still at $200 a month, for Free, Plus and Pro accounts alike.
- New subscriptions get less. OpenAI says new Pro 200 subscriptions include a lower usage allowance and no longer publishes multiples. Engadget reports about 10× Plus in Codex and ChatGPT Work (it was about 20×) and a weekly GPT-6 Pro cap in chat of 100 messages instead of 200.
- Existing subscribers keep the old allowance until 29 October. If your Pro 200 was active at OpenAI’s eligibility cutoff or in the seven days before it, you keep the previous allowance through 29 October 2026 while the subscription stays active, then move to the new one at the same price.
- A tier above it. Pro 500 ($500) launched on 29 September: the highest allowance (reported at about 25× Plus) and the only plan with Ultrafast.
In chat: GPT-6 Pro, old and new
Chat is where OpenAI documented the tiers most precisely before the reopening, and where the new allowance shows most:

The old-allowance and Pro 100 columns are OpenAI’s Help Center figures as listed on 28 September; the new-subscription figure is Engadget’s report, because OpenAI now only says that higher Pro plans have higher Pro-model limits. On Pro 100 the two Pro models draw from one weekly pool, so switching between them gives you nothing once it is spent; on the old Pro 200 allowance they were separate pools.
In everyday terms: the old allowance averaged about 28 GPT-6 Pro messages a day plus 170 Sol Pro; a new subscription’s reported 100 a week is about 14 a day; Pro 100’s 50 a week for both models is about 7 a day.
In Codex and ChatGPT Work: a separate allowance
Most people don’t know this: chat, ChatGPT Work and Codex have separate allowances. When chat is exhausted, Codex usually keeps working. OpenAI no longer publishes multiples, so the Codex side comes from OpenAI’s earlier figures and press reports:

Pro plans currently have no five-hour limit in Codex; the weekly allowance is what runs out. In September OpenAI also published per-5-hour estimates by model — for GPT-6 Astra, 5–45 local messages on Plus, 25–225 on Pro 5x and 100–900 on Pro 20x — which put the old 20x at four times Pro 5x. On the reported figures a new Pro 200 is about twice Pro 100. Consumption still depends on task complexity, context length, tool use and caching, and Ultrafast (Pro 500 only) uses the included allowance 8× as fast as Standard mode.
What Pro 200 is actually for
- Long agent and computer-use runs. Press coverage of the September pause attributed it to Astra’s computer-use workloads consuming far more compute than question-answering. That is the kind of work a Pro allowance is sized for; if those runs also need to be fast, Ultrafast is Pro 500 only.
- Codex all day. On the reported figures a new Pro 200 has about twice Pro 100’s Codex allowance: the difference between “change this file” and “change this subsystem” before the weekly allowance runs out.
- GPT-6 Pro as a daily tool. About 100 a week on a new subscription (reported) against a shared 50 on Pro 100.
- One account carrying the whole workflow. Chat for scoping, ChatGPT Work for documents, Codex for code — separate allowances, all sized for full-time use.
When Pro 200 is the wrong tier
- Pro 100’s GPT-6 Pro allowance lasts your week. Your density of hard problems doesn’t justify the extra cost.
- Your main Codex model is a small one. On OpenAI’s credit rate card GPT-6 Luna’s output costs about 1/20 of GPT-6 Sol’s, so everyday work on small models rarely exhausts Pro 100.
- You only want the strongest model now and then. Pro 100 already lets you pick GPT-6 Pro in chat, and Codex has its own allowance when chat runs out.
- You would still hit Pro 200’s limits every week, or you need speed. That is what Pro 500 is for; if the overflow is only occasional, Codex credits on top of Pro 200 are cheaper.

What the pause was (10–30 September 2026)
From 10 September 2026 OpenAI paused new sign-ups and upgrades to the $200 tier — from Free, Go, Plus and Pro $100 alike — and removed it from the pricing page, while existing subscriptions kept renewing. That rule is what made ready-made accounts the only way in for new buyers, and a one-time return let people who had the tier on 10 September buy it back once. The pause ended on 30 September: Pro 200 is on sale to everyone again, the one-time return no longer matters, and a ready-made account is now simply the option for people who want a separate account.

Already on Pro 200? Don’t let it lapse before 29 October
A cancellation, a downgrade or a failed renewal charge all end Pro 200 at the close of the billing cycle. If you were on the old allowance, subscribing again afterwards gets the new one, so keep the subscription active at least until 29 October; after that date every Pro 200 moves to the new allowance anyway.
