- Pro 200: on your own account ¥1,300 ≈ 193.75 USDT · ready-made ¥1,349 ≈ 201.05 USDT
- Pro 500: on your own account ¥3,599 ≈ 536.37 USDT · ready-made ¥3,699 ≈ 551.27 USDT
- Codex credits: 500 credits per pack, ¥180 ≈ 26.83 USDT; 1–20 packs per order, Plus or Pro accounts only
What is the difference between Pro 200 and Pro 500?
Everything in this table comes from OpenAI’s Help Center, pricing docs and release notes; the multiples and message counts are press-reported and marked as such. On usage the Help Center says only that Pro 200 includes more than Pro 100 and that Pro 500 has the most. It publishes no multiples.
| Pro 200 | Pro 500 | |
|---|---|---|
| OpenAI price (monthly billing only) | $200 a month | $500 a month |
| Our top-up (your own account) | ¥1,300 ≈ 193.75 USDT | ¥3,599 ≈ 536.37 USDT |
| Our ready-made account | ¥1,349 ≈ 201.05 USDT | ¥3,699 ≈ 551.27 USDT |
| Included usage (OpenAI) | More than Pro 100; subscriptions started since sign-ups reopened on September 30 get a lower allowance than before | The highest of the three Pro plans |
| Multiple of Plus (press-reported, not official) | About 10x on the new allowance; about 20x on the grandfathered one, through October 29 | About 25x |
| Ultrafast | No, and credits do not unlock it | Yes: GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol, chosen in the model picker in ChatGPT Work and Codex; billed at 8x against included usage and 6x against credits |
| GPT-6 Pro in chat | Yes, with its own weekly limit; after it, ChatGPT switches to GPT-5.6 Thinking (Medium). No count published (press reports say about 100 a week on the new allowance) | Yes; the Help Center says only that Pro plans with higher allowances get higher Pro-model limits. No count published |
| Thinking levels in chat | Same: Medium, High, Extra High, Pro | |
| Five-hour limit in Codex / Work | Same: none for now; weekly limits may apply | |
| Fast mode | Same: available on both, using included usage at 2.5x | |
| Dots (always-on agents) | Same: rolling out to eligible Pro users aged 18+, not in the EEA, Switzerland or the UK at launch | |
| Codex cloud-task VM | Same: 4 vCPU / 16 GiB memory / 32 GiB disk; the docs list one size for Pro | |
| Codex credits | Both can buy them; drawn after included usage; Codex, ChatGPT Work and ChatGPT for Word, Excel and PowerPoint only | |
| Subscribing directly at OpenAI | From the pricing page (open to new subscriptions again since September 30) | Web only at launch, not through the App Store or Google Play |
In one line: Pro 500 adds no chat features. It adds allowance and Ultrafast. Thinking levels, GPT-6 Pro, dots and the cloud VM are the same on both, so the decision comes down to two questions: is Pro 200’s allowance enough for you, and would you actually use Ultrafast?
Why October 30 is when this comparison starts to matter
When Pro 200 reopened to new subscribers on September 30, new subscriptions came with a lower allowance than before at the same price. A Pro 200 that was active at any point from September 22 through 10 a.m. Pacific on September 29 keeps the previous allowance through October 29; from October 30 every Pro 200 is on the new one. Press reports put the old allowance at about 20x Plus and the new one at about 10x, which is when heavy users who were comfortable before may start running into the limit and looking at Pro 500.
- Grandfathered? Do not upgrade for allowance yet. On the reported multiples, Pro 500 (about 25x) is only about 25% more than what you have today; the gap opens to about 2.5x after October 30. Use the old allowance to its last day.
- Keeping the old allowance is not an upgrade. The Help Center is explicit: you remain on Pro 200 and get no Ultrafast. Needing Ultrafast now is the one reason to move early.
- Measure one week after October 30. Settings → Usage shows how much of the new allowance a normal week takes and whether you hit the limit; then use the break-even below.
- Check for a credit grant first. Affected subscribers were reportedly given one-off credits (the amount appears only in second-hand reports, not on the Help Center). Look at your balance in Settings → Usage and let any grant cover your overflow before you pay for more.
If you are subscribing to Pro 200 for the first time now, none of this changes anything: you start on the new allowance. The full story is in ChatGPT Pro 200 on October 30.
Is Pro 500 worth 2.5 times the price? What one unit of usage costs
At OpenAI, Pro 500 costs 2.5 times Pro 200. The only usage numbers available for arithmetic are the press-reported multiples of Plus in Codex and Work: about 10x for a new Pro 200 and about 25x for Pro 500. Divide each price by its multiple and you get the price of one Plus-worth of usage:
| Plan | OpenAI price | vs Plus (press-reported) | Per Plus-worth at OpenAI | Our top-up | Per Plus-worth here |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pro 200 (new allowance) | $200 | about 10x | $20 | 193.75 USDT | 19.38 USDT |
| Pro 500 | $500 | about 25x | $20 | 536.37 USDT | 21.45 USDT |
| For reference: grandfathered Pro 200 (existing subscriptions only, through October 29) | $200 | about 20x | $10 | — | — |
At OpenAI’s prices a Plus-worth costs about $20 on both a new Pro 200 and Pro 500, so Pro 500 is not a bulk discount. Our Pro 500 top-up costs 2.77x our Pro 200 top-up for a reported 2.5x the usage, so one Plus-worth of usage costs about 21.45 USDT on Pro 500 against about 19.38 USDT on Pro 200, roughly 11% more. Put another way, the extra 15 or so Plus-worths cost about 22.84 USDT each, more than a Plus-worth costs on Pro 200 itself (19.38 USDT).
The multiples are rough press-reported ratios for Codex and Work, not official thresholds; GPT-6 Pro in chat is counted separately and OpenAI publishes no count for either tier. Extra allowance is only worth paying for if you actually use it.
What is Ultrafast, and what does it cost in allowance?
Ultrafast is a faster service tier for GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol. It exists only in ChatGPT Work and Codex, you switch it on in the model picker, and ordinary chat does not use it. Among the Pro plans only Pro 500 has it; buying credits on Pro 100 or Pro 200 does not unlock it. The speed is billed. Relative to Standard mode for the same model, OpenAI charges:
| Speed mode | Available on | Included usage | Purchased credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | Pro 200, Pro 500 | 1x | 1x |
| Fast | Pro 200, Pro 500 | 2.5x | 2x |
| Ultrafast (GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol) | Pro 500 only | 8x | 6x |
- Included usage first, credits after. Ultrafast draws on Pro 500’s included allowance, then on your credit balance.
- The multipliers are not speed claims. The Help Center calls them consumption rates, not guarantees of faster performance. OpenAI publishes no speed; press reports put Ultrafast at up to about 300 tokens per second.
- The same task in Ultrafast uses 8 times the included allowance it would use in Standard. That is the real price of Pro 500’s headline feature.
Apply that multiplier to the press-reported allowance and you get a rough picture of how much work one Pro 500 period covers (arithmetic for illustration, not an OpenAI figure):
| Share of your work run in Ultrafast | Work a Pro 500 allowance covers (in Plus-worths at Standard speed) | Against Pro 200 run entirely in Standard (about 10) |
|---|---|---|
| 0% | about 25 | about 2.5x |
| 10% | about 14.7 | about 1.5x |
| 25% | about 9.1 | only about 0.9x |
| 50% | about 5.6 | only about 0.6x |
| 100% | about 3.1 | only about 0.3x |
Once about 21% of your work runs in Ultrafast, a Pro 500 period gets through no more work than Pro 200 does in Standard mode; left on all the time, 25 Plus-worths of allowance behave like about 3.1. So do not leave it on. Keep it for the moments when waiting costs you: a production fix, the last round of changes before a demo, fast back-and-forth debugging. Run long background jobs in Standard, where the same allowance does 8 times the work.
Pro 200 plus credit packs or Pro 500: where is the break-even?
OpenAI’s pricing docs say Plus and Pro users who hit a limit can buy credits instead of upgrading: included usage is spent first, then credits. This table uses today’s prices (refreshed hourly; the pricing page is authoritative) to show Pro 200 plus a few packs a month against Pro 500:
| Packs added a month | Pro 200 + credits | vs Pro 500 top-up (536.37 USDT) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 (500 credits) | 220.58 USDT | saves 315.79 USDT |
| 4 (2,000 credits) | 301.06 USDT | saves 235.31 USDT |
| 8 (4,000 credits) | 408.36 USDT | saves 128.01 USDT |
| 12 (6,000 credits) | 515.66 USDT | saves 20.71 USDT |
| 13 (6,500 credits) | 542.49 USDT | costs 6.12 USDT more |
| 15 (7,500 credits) | 596.14 USDT | costs 59.77 USDT more |
At today’s prices the 342.62 USDT gap between the two top-ups buys 12 packs of Codex credits (6,000 credits): up to 12 packs a month, Pro 200 plus credits still costs less than Pro 500; at 13 or more every month you are paying at least as much as Pro 500. The table compares money only, so weigh three things with it:
- Credits do not reach chat. They cover Codex, ChatGPT Work and ChatGPT for Word, Excel and PowerPoint only. If the weekly GPT-6 Pro limit in chat is your bottleneck, no number of packs helps.
- Credits do not unlock Ultrafast. However many you buy on Pro 200, Ultrafast stays a Pro 500 feature.
- Credits do not expire monthly. They last 12 months (non-transferable), so uneven usage often costs less than the table suggests; Pro 500’s extra allowance is gone if you do not use it that month.
What one 500-credit pack buys: on OpenAI’s rate card, counting output only, about 2 million tokens of GPT-6 Sol or about 0.4 million of GPT-6 Astra (input is billed on top, and Fast mode spends credits at 2x). OpenAI does not publish how many credits a plan’s allowance equals, so Pro 500’s extra allowance cannot be converted into packs; your own Settings → Usage is the reference. Ordering is covered in Buy Codex credits.
Which one fits how you work: Pro 200, Pro 200 plus credits, or Pro 500?
| Your pattern | Take | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Mostly chat; you rarely see a reset timer | Pro 200 | Ultrafast does nothing in chat and you would not use Pro 500’s extra allowance; if you almost never hit a limit, Pro 100 is enough |
| Codex or Work every day; the weekly limit catches you now and then | Pro 200 + Codex credits | With up to 12 packs a month you still pay less than for Pro 500, and unused credits stay valid for 12 months |
| You reach Pro 200’s weekly limit every week and would buy 13 or more packs a month | Pro 500 | Credits would cost you at least the price gap; Pro 500 has the highest allowance |
| Interactive debugging against a deadline, production incidents: waiting on the model is the cost | Pro 500 | The only tier with Ultrafast; remember it bills at 8x, so switch it on for the critical stretch only |
| Your bottleneck is the weekly GPT-6 Pro limit in chat | Pro 200 first; try Pro 500 for one month if it really is not enough | Credits do not help in chat; OpenAI says higher tiers get higher Pro-model limits but publishes no count, so you cannot confirm it is enough before you try |
| Grandfathered Pro 200, old allowance still active | Stay on Pro 200 through October 29 | On the reported multiples Pro 500 is only about 25% more than the old allowance |
Choose month by month. OpenAI bills Pro monthly only and each of our orders covers 30 days, so nothing locks you in: take Pro 500 for the launch or crunch month, then go back to Pro 200 (¥1,300 ≈ 193.75 USDT) and keep 342.62 USDT a month.
Who should not buy Pro 500:
- Anyone who does not hit Pro 200’s limit in a normal week. The features are the same; you would only pay more.
- People who mostly chat. Ultrafast exists only in ChatGPT Work and Codex.
- Groups planning to split one account. OpenAI’s terms prohibit sharing account credentials, and shared use is how accounts get into trouble.
- Anyone wanting to pay for a year up front. Pro is billed monthly only, with no paying months ahead.
The same comparison one tier down is ChatGPT Pro 100 vs Pro 200; all three tiers together are in ChatGPT Pro 100 vs 200 vs 500.
How to switch from Pro 200 to Pro 500 on the same account (6 steps)
OpenAI’s Help Center says to use your existing account when you change plans, under Settings → My Plan, and if your card works at chatgpt.com you can do it there. This route is for everyone else: buyers whose card is declined or whose country is not supported. Our Pro 500 top-up accepts Free, Plus and Pro accounts, for a new subscription, a renewal or an upgrade, so an unexpired Pro 200 can move up. Because it stays your account, chats, memory, custom instructions, GPTs and Projects are untouched; only the plan changes.
- Check that you need it: Sign in at chatgpt.com. Under Settings → Usage (Usage & Billing in the Codex app), see whether you really reach the weekly limit every week; under Settings → My Plan, confirm you are on Pro 200. The Pro 500 top-up accepts Free, Plus and Pro accounts, for a new subscription, a renewal or an upgrade, so an unexpired Pro 200 can move up directly.
- Switch off the duplicate renewal: If your Pro 200 renews automatically on the web, the App Store or Google Play, switch auto-renew off where you bought it, so you are not charged twice.
- Pick the product: On the pricing page choose ChatGPT Pro 500 as a top-up on your own account and check the price and stock.
- Submit your session, checked first: Follow the order page: in the same browser, sign in to ChatGPT, open chatgpt.com/api/auth/session as the order page links it, select and copy all of the JSON, and paste it into the order form. Paste it only there, never into a chat window. It is checked before you pay, and if the check fails you pay nothing. You keep your password.
- Pay in USDT: TRC20 or BEP20. Send exactly the amount shown on the order page; the amount identifies your order. Each order covers 30 days.
- Wait, then verify: Activation usually takes 5 to 30 minutes; the session data is used for this top-up only and cleared automatically after delivery. Refresh chatgpt.com: Settings → My Plan shows Pro 500, Ultrafast appears in the model picker in ChatGPT Work and Codex, and your chats, memory and GPTs are all still there.
Order here: ChatGPT Pro 500 top-up, ¥3,599 ≈ 536.37 USDT. The full buying guide (both ways to buy, renewals, after-sales) is How to buy ChatGPT Pro 500.
- What about the Pro 200 days you have left? That is decided by OpenAI’s billing; we do not promise any credit for it or interpret OpenAI’s rules. If you are in no hurry, upgrading near the end of your Pro 200 period leaves the fewest days at stake; if you hit the wall every week, upgrading now buys back time.
- Going back from Pro 500 to Pro 200: let Pro 500 run out, then order the Pro 200 top-up (Pro accounts qualify); if you want to switch mid-period, ask the live chat before ordering. Direct OpenAI subscribers change plans in Settings → My Plan. Credits you bought stay usable until they expire.
- One more thing to do around the switch: GPT-5.5 was retired from ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work and Codex on October 14, on both tiers; replace any Codex setting still hard-coded to it, as described in GPT-5.5 retired on October 14.
Prefer not to submit sign-in data? Ready-made accounts on both tiers
A ready-made account already has the plan active; one account per order, for one person, and per the product description you can bind your own email. It suits three kinds of buyer: you would rather not submit your own sign-in data; you want a work account separate from your personal one; or your account does not qualify for a top-up.
- Flow: pay in USDT (TRC20 or BEP20) → enter a delivery email on the order page → click the verification email Cloudflare sends → our team delivers by hand; the order page shows 30 minutes to about 4 hours. Change the password first, then check Settings → My Plan.
- Ready-made Pro 200: first month ¥1,349 ≈ 201.05 USDT, 7.30 USDT more than the top-up; renew by messaging Telegram @ccnb1937 with your order ID, at the Pro 200 top-up price (193.75 USDT).
- Ready-made Pro 500: first month ¥3,699 ≈ 551.27 USDT, 14.90 USDT more than the top-up; renewals the same way, at the Pro 500 top-up price (536.37 USDT).
- Old chats do not move: a ready-made account is a different account, so the chats, memory and GPTs in your current one do not come with it; top up if you want to keep them. The trade-offs are in ready-made vs your own account.
- Changing tier on a ready-made account: renewals are priced at the same tier; if you want the other tier on the account you already hold, ask on Telegram before you renew.

What we guarantee, and what we cannot promise
What we guarantee in writing:
- Checked before you pay. A top-up checks your session data first, and you pay nothing if the check fails. The data is used once and cleared after delivery; your password stays with you.
- One ready-made account, one buyer. Each ready-made account goes to a single buyer, and the order page shows its status at every step.
- Refund terms are public. If an OpenAI regional policy change makes the service unavailable, you get a refund for the unused days, processed within 1 business day and returned in USDT. Bans caused by breaking OpenAI’s usage policies are not refunded. Contact the bottom-right live chat promptly if anything goes wrong.
- Track record. ClaudeMax has operated since November 2024 and has served more than 20,000 users (our own figure); how to check us before you pay is in Is ClaudeMax legit?
- You can verify delivery yourself. Settings → My Plan shows the tier, and on Pro 500 Ultrafast appears in the model picker in ChatGPT Work and Codex.
What we cannot promise:
- We are not OpenAI. ClaudeMax is independent: not OpenAI, and not an authorized OpenAI reseller.
- OpenAI sets the allowances. It decides how much each plan includes and when that changes; the lower allowance on new Pro 200 subscriptions is the latest example, and Pro 500’s allowance or the Ultrafast multipliers could change too. At a limit you wait for the reset or use credits where they apply; OpenAI Support itself cannot reset limits.
- That Pro 500 will be enough. OpenAI publishes no figures and every multiple in this article is press-reported. Only your own Settings → Usage can answer that, which is why we suggest trying it for a month.
- OpenAI’s Terms of Use. The Help Center says sharing account credentials, reselling access and automatically extracting data are prohibited, and that OpenAI may restrict access for misuse. We cannot change that rule; we can help you keep the risk low: one account, one person; change a ready-made account’s password at once; never lend or split it; avoid signing in from many different countries.
- Prices are not fixed, and not always under OpenAI’s list price. They follow cost, exchange rate and stock; the order page is authoritative, and today’s gap to the list price is in the price box above.
