Side by side: what each $200 plan gives you

One more word on usage: A Pro 200 you start today is on the new allowance from day one; subscriptions active between September 22 and September 29 keep the old allowance on the same account through October 29 and move to the new one on October 30. Neither company publishes message counts, the multiples are rough press-reported ratios, and Settings → Usage on your own account is what counts.

Which one for what: five verdicts

1. You run a coding agent all day

On Codex, take ChatGPT Pro 200. Pro plans currently have no five-hour limit in Codex and ChatGPT Work (weekly limits may apply), so long runs are not cut by a five-hour window, and GPT-6 Astra is available. Since October 9, personal Pro users aged 18 and older get Composer predictions (beta) in the Codex desktop app; generating predictions does not count toward limits during the beta. For occasional overflow, buy credits: Pro 100 plus up to 2 packs of Codex credits a month (500 credits each) still costs less than Pro 200.

On Claude Code, take Claude Max 20x. Claude Code is included and defaults to Opus 5.5, with 20x Pro’s usage per five-hour session. There is still a weekly limit, Fable can use at most 50% of it, and chat draws from the same pool. One trap: if ANTHROPIC_API_KEY is set on your machine, Claude Code bills the API instead of your plan.

2. Long writing, big documents, research

For very long inputs, Claude Max 20x: Anthropic lists context up to 1M (varies by model), Max adds higher output limits, and Research and Projects are included. For deep research reports and the hardest reasoning, ChatGPT Pro 200: the Pro card promises “Maximum deep research”, chat has GPT-6 Pro and Extra High thinking (neither is on Plus), and reasoning models get a 400K context window.

3. Images and voice

ChatGPT Pro 200. The Pro card lists “Unlimited and faster image creation”, the comparison table shows Voice as Unlimited* (subject to abuse guardrails), and Voice with video is included. Claude has Voice mode too, but Anthropic’s plan table has no image-generation row. Neither pricing page lists video generation, so we do not compare it.

4. You build on the API

Claude Max 20x. Since October 8 it includes $200 a month in Claude Platform API credits for Claude API, Claude Managed Agents, Claude Agent SDK and Playground. Claim them on claude.ai after 7 days on the plan by linking one Console organization (you cannot change it yourself); they expire each billing cycle and do not work in Claude Code. ChatGPT Pro includes no API credits. Our Max top-up lands on your own account, so you are the subscriber, but the rollout is staged and eligibility is Anthropic’s call, so we do not promise the credits. 5. You want both

If one side is heavy and the other light, the cheapest mix is the $200 plan on the heavy side and the entry plan on the other: Pro 200 + Claude Pro is 230.85 USDT, Claude Max 20x + Plus is 295.68 USDT. Who should buy neither

• You mostly chat and rarely hit a limit: ChatGPT Plus (27.58 USDT) or Claude Pro (37.11 USDT) is enough.
• Codex runs over only now and then: Pro 100 (126.68 USDT) plus Codex credits; Pro 100 plus up to 2 packs of Codex credits a month (500 credits each) still costs less than Pro 200. See Pro 100 or Pro 200.
• You hit Pro 200’s limits every week, or need Ultrafast: Pro 200 has no Ultrafast; go straight to Pro 500 (536.37 USDT). See Pro 200 vs Pro 500.
• Your Claude account has never paid for a plan by card: it cannot take the Max top-up. The ready-made Max 20x account is sold out too, so Max 20x is not available to you here right now; Claude Pro (a Free account can be topped up, but Pro has no Fable) or ChatGPT Pro 200 are the alternatives.
• You want to split one account or pay a year upfront: do not. OpenAI’s terms prohibit sharing credentials and reselling access, and both $200 plans are monthly only; each order here covers 30 days.

ChatGPT Pro 200 top-up (6 steps)

1. Check your account’s plan: Sign in at chatgpt.com and open Settings → My Plan. Free, Plus and Pro accounts can all order the ChatGPT Pro 200 top-up: on Free it is a new subscription, on Plus or Pro 100 an upgrade, on Pro 200 a renewal.
2. Turn off any duplicate auto-renewal: If the account renews automatically through chatgpt.com, the App Store or Google Play, switch that off where you subscribed first, or you may be charged twice.
3. Pick the product: On the pricing page choose ChatGPT Pro 200 as a top-up on your own account and check the price and stock.
4. Submit your sign-in data: Follow the order page: in the same browser, sign in to ChatGPT, open the address the order page gives you, copy the whole session or cookie JSON and paste it back into the order form. Paste it only there, never into a chat window.
5. Pay in USDT after the check: Your sign-in data is checked first; if the check fails you pay nothing. Then send exactly the USDT amount shown on TRC20 or BEP20; the amount identifies your order and payment is confirmed automatically.
