Need the highest cap? Go straight to Pro 500

About 25× Plus usage (reported), the most of the three Pro tiers and the only one with Ultrafast. From October 30, Pro 200 moves to its new, lower allowance (about 10× Plus); if you keep hitting the weekly limit, this is the tier to switch to.

On your account: works on Free, Plus and Pro accounts; we check your session before you pay, and it is usually live in 5–30 minutes. Ready-made: no sign-in data needed, delivered by hand after payment, usually in 30 minutes to 4 hours. Pay in USDT (TRC20 or BEP20). Questions: Telegram @ccnb1937.

Who outgrows Pro 200 after October 30

OpenAI’s Help Center (re-read October 25) says only that Pro 200 includes more usage than Pro 100 and Pro 500 the most, and that new Pro 200 subscriptions get a lower allowance than before at the same $200. Grandfathered Pro 200 subscriptions keep the old allowance through October 29 (4 days left, Beijing time); from October 30 every Pro 200 is on the lower new allowance. Press reports put the new Pro 200 at about 10x Plus in Codex and ChatGPT Work (the old one about 20x) and the weekly GPT-6 Pro cap in chat at 100 instead of 200. Those are reported numbers, not published quotas, but they mean roughly half of what grandfathered users had. You are likely to outgrow it if:

  • You used more than half of the old weekly allowance. On the reported halving, the same week of work now hits the limit around mid-week.
  • Codex or ChatGPT Work runs most of your day: long agent sessions, several cloud tasks in parallel, large repositories with a lot of context.
  • GPT-6 Astra is your default model. In credits Astra costs 1,250 per million output tokens against 250 for GPT-6.1 Sol, five times as much; OpenAI does not publish the allowance equivalent, but expect Astra-heavy work to run out sooner.
  • You lean on Fast mode, which uses included usage at 2.5x.
  • You live in GPT-6 Pro in chat and the reported 100 messages a week are not enough. Credits do not add GPT-6 Pro messages; a higher tier does.

If none of these is you, Pro 200 (or Pro 100) stays the better buy. Pro plans currently have no five-hour limit in Codex and Work, so on Pro 200 you only meet the weekly allowance.

What Pro 500 adds, and what it does not

  • The highest included usage. OpenAI calls it the highest of the three; Unite.AI, citing OpenAI, puts it at 25x Plus, about 2.5 times a new Pro 200.
  • Ultrafast, Pro 500 only. A low-latency tier for GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol in ChatGPT Work and Codex, chosen in the model picker. Buying credits on Pro 100 or Pro 200 does not unlock it, and Business does not include it.
  • Nothing else. Pro models, Codex, deep research, image creation, memory and file uploads are on every Pro tier. Cloud tasks run on the same 4 vCPU / 16 GiB / 32 GiB machine, and none of the tiers has a five-hour limit.
  • Billing. Monthly only: no annual plan, no paying months ahead. At launch it could only be subscribed on the web, not through the App Store or Google Play.

Ultrafast is not free speed

Relative to Standard mode for the same model, Fast uses included usage at 2.5x and Ultrafast at 8x; on credits, 2x and 6x. So every hour of Ultrafast costs the allowance of about 8 hours of the same work in Standard. Here is what that does to Pro 500’s reported 25x Plus, depending on how much of your work runs in Ultrafast (our illustration on the reported multiples, not an OpenAI figure):

Share of work in UltrafastStandard-equivalent usage left (x Plus)vs a new Pro 200 in Standard
0%25x2.5x
10%14.7x1.5x
25%9.1x0.9x
50%5.6x0.6x
100%3.1x0.3x

The break-even sits at about 21%: above it, Pro 500 gets less work done than a Pro 200 run entirely in Standard. Keep Ultrafast for the moments when waiting costs you (a production fix, the last round before a demo, quick back-and-forth debugging) and run long background jobs in Standard.

The cost math at today’s prices

Per unit of usage (monthly price divided by the press-reported multiple; Codex and Work only):

TierOpenAI pricevs Plus (reported)Our top-upOurs per Plus-worth
Pro 100$1005x126.68 USDT25.34 USDT
Pro 200 (new allowance)$20010x193.75 USDT19.38 USDT
Pro 500$50025x491.66 USDT19.67 USDT

At our prices a Plus-worth costs about 19.67 USDT on Pro 500 against 19.38 USDT on a new Pro 200, so Pro 500 is not a bulk discount. The step from Pro 200 to Pro 500 is 297.91 USDT a month for a reported 15 extra units, about 19.86 USDT each. A cheap unit you never use is still wasted money.

Pro 200 plus Codex credits vs Pro 500 (credits cover Codex, ChatGPT Work and ChatGPT for Word, Excel and PowerPoint):

RoutePer monthCredits on top
Pro 200 top-up193.75 USDT0
Pro 200 + 2 packs247.40 USDT1,000
Pro 200 + 6 packs354.70 USDT3,000
Pro 200 + 11 packs488.83 USDT5,500
Pro 500 top-up491.66 USDTUltrafast + highest allowance
Pro 500 ready-made, first month506.56 USDT14.91 USDT more than the top-up, first month only

Up to 11 packs a month on top of Pro 200 still costs less than Pro 500. Those 5,500 credits buy, on output alone at OpenAI’s rate card, about 22 million GPT-6.1 Sol tokens or 4.4 million GPT-6 Astra tokens (input is extra; Fast bills credits at 2x). If you would need more than that every month, Pro 500 is the cheaper route. OpenAI does not publish what an allowance is worth in credits, so this compares money, not work. The alternatives

Five self-check questions

Answer in order; the first answer that points to a tier is your answer.

QuestionAnswer → buy
1. Have you run at least one week on the new Pro 200 allowance? Not yet → if you are grandfathered, wait: your old allowance runs through October 29. Then check a week from October 30. Never on Pro → start on Pro 200 for a month.
2. Do you hit the weekly limit before mid-week, every week? No, only now and then → stay on Pro 200 and add credits. Yes → go to question 3.
3. Would you need more than 11 credit packs a month on Pro 200?No → Pro 200 + credits is cheaper. Yes, or your overflow is GPT-6 Pro in chat (credits do not cover it) → go to question 4.
4. Is this usage one person’s?No, several people → Business Premium seats, never a shared account. Yes → go to question 5.
5. Do you need Ultrafast, or just more allowance?Either one → Pro 500. If you need Ultrafast, keep it under about 21% of your work.

Pro is monthly, so a wrong guess costs one month: take Pro 500 for a month, watch Settings → Usage, and drop back to Pro 200 if you used less than half.

Both routes are paid in USDT, so neither depends on a card that chatgpt.com accepts. Not sure which fits? The same reasoning one tier down is in Pro 200: top-up or ready-made?

The top-up in six steps:

  1. Measure first: Sign in at chatgpt.com and open Settings → Usage (Usage & Billing in the Codex app). Note how early in the week you reach the limit on the new Pro 200 allowance, and whether you would actually use Ultrafast.
  2. Turn off duplicate renewals: If the account renews automatically on chatgpt.com, the App Store or Google Play, switch that off where you subscribed, so you are not charged twice.
  3. Pick the product: On the pricing page choose ChatGPT Pro 500 as a top-up on your own account (Free, Plus or Pro accounts: new subscription, renewal or upgrade) or as a ready-made account.
  4. Top-up: submit the Session JSON: In the same browser, sign in to ChatGPT, open chatgpt.com/api/auth/session as the order page links it, copy all of the JSON and paste it only into the order form. It is checked before you pay; if the check fails you pay nothing.
  5. Pay in USDT: TRC20 or BEP20, exactly the amount shown on the order page. Each order covers 30 days.
  6. Verify: A top-up is usually live in 5–30 minutes; Settings → My Plan shows Pro 500 and Ultrafast appears in the model picker in ChatGPT Work and Codex. A ready-made account is hand-delivered in about 30 minutes to 4 hours after you verify the delivery email; change its password on first sign-in.

Refunds: top-ups are checked before you pay, and you pay nothing if the check fails. Ready-made accounts are not refundable once delivered. If anything goes wrong, contact the bottom-right live chat or Telegram promptly.

Risk, briefly: OpenAI’s terms are per user, accounts can be restricted for misuse such as sharing credentials or reselling access, and access from unsupported regions may be restricted. ClaudeMax is independent, not OpenAI or an authorized reseller; OpenAI sets the allowances and may change them again.
