- ChatGPT Business: Standard ¥220 ≈ 32.79 USDT per seat per month; Premium ≈ 163.94 USDT; OpenAI $25 / $125 monthly
- ChatGPT Plus: top-up ¥185 ≈ 27.58 USDT per person per month; ready-made ≈ 29.66 USDT; OpenAI $20 monthly
- Delivery: Business = owner account of a ready workspace, emailed the same day; Plus = one order per person
Price per person: Business costs a bit more, at OpenAI and here
Start with the number most teams ask about first. On OpenAI's monthly billing a Business Standard seat is $25 and Plus is $20, so Business is $5 dollars more per person. On annual billing the seat drops to $20, the same as Plus, but you commit for a year; Plus itself has no annual plan. Business also has a 2-seat minimum, Plus has none. Here a Standard seat costs 5.21 USDT a month more per person than a Plus top-up (≈ 32.79 USDT vs ≈ 27.58 USDT).
| Business Standard seat | Plus top-up | Plus ready-made | |
|---|---|---|---|
| OpenAI list price | $25 monthly / $20 annual | $20 monthly only | |
| Here, per person per month | ≈ 32.79 USDT | ≈ 27.58 USDT | ≈ 29.66 USDT |
| Minimum | 2 seats | 1 person | |
| Whose account | The company's workspace; members use their own logins | The person's own account | A new account for one person |
OpenAI prices are in USD before tax and card fees and may vary by country. 1 USDT is taken as 1 USD. Our prices are above OpenAI's list prices; what you pay for is no foreign card, USDT payment and delivery by our team.

All-Standard Business against one Plus per person, at today's prices (refreshed hourly; the pricing card is authoritative). OpenAI's monthly list price for the same headcount is in brackets.
| People | Business, all Standard | Plus top-up each | Plus ready-made each |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | ≈ 65.58 USDT (OpenAI $50) | ≈ 55.15 USDT (OpenAI $40) | ≈ 59.32 USDT |
| 3 | ≈ 98.37 USDT (OpenAI $75) | ≈ 82.72 USDT (OpenAI $60) | ≈ 88.98 USDT |
| 5 | ≈ 163.94 USDT (OpenAI $125) | ≈ 137.86 USDT (OpenAI $100) | ≈ 148.29 USDT |
| 10 | ≈ 327.87 USDT (OpenAI $250) | ≈ 275.71 USDT (OpenAI $200) | ≈ 296.58 USDT |
| 20 | ≈ 655.74 USDT (OpenAI $500) | ≈ 551.42 USDT (OpenAI $400) | ≈ 593.15 USDT |
Heavy Codex users change the picture, but not toward Plus: one Premium seat (5x a Standard seat, ≈ 163.94 USDT here) covers what would otherwise be a Plus that keeps hitting its limit. Which roles need it is in Standard vs Premium seats; per-developer setups for an engineering team are in the AI coding plan for engineering teams.
Usage: a Standard seat is a Plus, give or take
People often assume a business plan comes with bigger limits. For Standard seats it does not. OpenAI's own pricing page lists the same five-hour estimates for Plus and Standard Business in ChatGPT Work and Codex (local messages per five hours, read 2026-10-23):
| Model | Plus | Standard Business |
|---|---|---|
| GPT-6 Astra | 5–45 | 5–45 |
| GPT-6.1 Sol | 15–160 | 15–160 |
| GPT-6 Sol | 15–150 | 15–150 |
| GPT-6 Luna | 350–3,000 | 350–3,000 |
The small differences, all from OpenAI's Help Center:
- Pro model in Chat. A Standard seat includes 15 Pro messages a month (GPT-6 Pro and GPT-5.6 Sol Pro, shared). Plus has none.
- Thinking levels. Plus gets Medium and High. Business also gets Extra High and Pro.
- Going over. Plus users can buy credits on their own account; a Business workspace buys workspace credits that the owner controls with spend limits.
- Model controls. In Business, admins may decide which models members can use. On Plus, each person decides alone.
So don't choose Business to get more usage. Choose it for what the rest of this page covers.
What only Business gives a team
- A workspace that belongs to the company. OpenAI describes a Business workspace as holding the organization's content, settings and member access. People sign in with their own ChatGPT accounts, but the work they do there stays in the company's workspace.
- An admin console with roles. Four roles: owner (billing, identity, everything), admin (members and routine settings), analytics viewer (usage only) and member. Only owners buy and assign seats.
- SSO, domain verification and MFA. SAML or OIDC single sign-on and domain verification are included with Business; MFA is listed for the plan too. Plus has none of this beyond each person's own login settings. SCIM is not part of Business.
- No training on workspace data by default. On Plus, data sharing is on by default and every person has to switch off "Improve the model for everyone" themselves. On Business nobody has to remember.
- Sharing inside the company only. Chats, GPTs and projects can be shared with colleagues, and a shared link does not open for anyone outside the workspace. Plus can't share plugins with a workspace at all.
- Company Knowledge and apps, managed centrally. Standard seats include GPTs, Projects, Apps and Company Knowledge; admins and owners view and manage which apps the workspace uses.
- Seats that outlive people. A seat is paid capacity, separate from the person. Reassigning it to a new hire costs nothing.
- One bill. One order, one renewal date, one place to see usage, instead of a row of personal subscriptions on different dates.
How to switch these on in the first week is covered in the Business admin setup guide.
What Plus does better
- It costs less per person and has no minimum: one person can buy one.
- The account belongs to the person. Their chats, memory and custom GPTs stay theirs when they change jobs. For freelancers and contractors this is the point.
- Self-service export. Plus users can download a copy of their data from settings. Business has no self-service export; requests go to the workspace owner.
- No admin work. Nobody has to manage members, roles or seats.
Those strengths are personal. They are also exactly what a company gives up control of when everyone works on Plus.
When someone leaves: the real cost of a Plus for everyone
Picture a five-person team on Plus. The account manager spends a year in ChatGPT: client briefs in projects, a custom GPT trained on your price list, hundreds of chats with drafts and negotiations. Then she leaves. All of it is in her personal account. The company can't open it, can't take it back and can't switch it off; if the company paid for her Plus, she still has it until it lapses. Whether those chats were used for training depended on a setting she may never have touched.
On Business the same day looks different. The owner removes her, and her access to the workspace ends immediately. Leaving does not move Business content into her personal account. Her seat goes to the replacement with no new purchase. Two honest limits: by default even the owner cannot read members' private chats, and there is no self-service export. So the rule for a Business team is simple: client work goes into shared projects and GPTs, not private chats.
For a team of five, Business costs about 312.97 USDT more over a full year than five Plus top-ups. Set that against one person leaving with a year of client work in a personal account.
Choose Business if… / choose Plus if…
Choose Business if
- The team works with client, financial or internal data you would not want in someone's personal account.
- People join and leave during the year, or you use interns and temporary staff.
- You want sign-in through your company identity provider, or MFA as a rule rather than a hope.
- You want shared GPTs, projects and Company Knowledge that the whole team builds on.
- You want one order and one renewal instead of collecting subscriptions person by person.
- One or two people need much more Codex time: a Premium seat sits in the same workspace.
Choose Plus if
- You are two or three people who each work on your own tasks and share little.
- Everyone wants to keep their own history, export it and take it with them.
- The team is mostly freelancers or contractors with their own clients.
- Budget is the deciding factor and no one handles sensitive company data in ChatGPT.
- Some people already pay for Plus and will keep it anyway.
A mixed setup is common and fine: staff on Business seats, outside contractors on their own Plus. Members can also keep a separate personal workspace next to the company one.
How buying works here
Business is one order for the whole team. Pick Standard and Premium seats on the ChatGPT Business card, pay in USDT, verify your delivery email, and our team emails the owner account of a ready workspace the same day. You invite members yourself; each order covers 30 days, and you renew by messaging Telegram @ccnb1937 with the order ID before it ends. To change the number of paid seats or billing, contact us first. Step by step: how to buy Business seats.
Plus is one order per person. A top-up goes onto that person's own Free account: they submit the sign-in data the order page asks for, it is checked before payment, and it usually takes 5 to 30 minutes. A ready-made account is hand-delivered in 30 minutes to about 4 hours. Each person then renews on their own date. Details: how to buy ChatGPT Plus, or go straight to the Plus card.
Buying for a company
Payment on the site is USDT on TRC20 or BEP20 (how paying with USDT works). If your finance team needs an invoice, a bank transfer or annual terms, we confirm what is possible case by case before you order; none of it is promised in advance. Email support@claudemax.shop with the subject "Business purchase", or message Telegram @ccnb1937, with your headcount and what you need. Orders of 100+ seats go to a person first. We have served 90+ company customers (as of September 2026, self-reported). More on the process in buying ChatGPT for a company.
OpenAI's rules and the risks
Plainly: OpenAI's terms prohibit sharing account credentials and reselling access, and OpenAI may restrict access when it sees misuse; one person per seat or per Plus account. OpenAI also says access from outside its supported countries and territories may get an account blocked or suspended. We can't change either rule. We are not OpenAI and not an authorized OpenAI reseller; OpenAI sets every plan's features and limits. More in Is ClaudeMax legit?
