How to buy ChatGPT Plus (October 2026): price, top-up or ready-made account, what Plus includes, and when Go or Pro 100 fits better

How much is ChatGPT Plus? OpenAI’s price and ours

OpenAI’s paid personal plans come in three steps: Go at $8, Plus at $20 and Pro from $100 (Pro has 100, 200 and 500 tiers), all monthly. The Help Center says Plus is billed monthly, with no annual billing and no paying several months in advance.

Against OpenAI’s own price: our top-up is 27.58 USDT. That is 7.58 USDT more than OpenAI’s $20 list price, taking 1 USDT ≈ 1 USD (the list price excludes foreign-card fees and taxes). The difference pays for the service: no card that chatgpt.com has to accept, payment in USDT, and a check of your account before you pay. A ready-made account costs 2.09 USDT more, in the first month only; renewals are at the top-up price. What ChatGPT Plus includes in October 2026 (OpenAI’s wording)

• GPT-6 Sol with Intelligent UI in chat. Since October 7 the Chat tab on Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise has been moving to GPT-6 Sol. Answers can mix text, visuals and interactive elements such as side-by-side comparisons, diagrams and calculators. Intelligent UI works from Instant through Extra High; on Plus that means up to High. • Medium and High thinking. No Extra High, no Pro thinking, and no GPT-6 Pro or GPT-5.6 Sol Pro in chat; those are Pro features. On Plus, Instant does not switch up on its own for hard questions, so pick Medium or High yourself.
• GPT-6 Astra in ChatGPT Work and Codex only. Plus can use Astra there within limits (about 5–45 local messages per five hours), but not in chat.
• What the pricing page lists: more messages and uploads, better image creation, expanded deep research, more memory and context, projects, scheduled tasks and custom GPTs, expanded Codex usage, ChatGPT Work on desktop, web and mobile, and early access to new features.
• Audio uploads (since October 6). The release notes say paid subscriptions can upload recordings to get transcripts, summaries and answers about their content, turning a meeting, interview or lecture into notes. • GPT-5.5 retired on October 14. It is gone from ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work and Codex on every plan (the API is not affected). If you use Codex with ChatGPT sign-in on Plus, switch to GPT-6 Sol (gpt-6-sol) and replace any hard-coded gpt-5.5 in scripts and scheduled tasks; see GPT-5.5 retires on October 14.
• Not included: Dot, the always-on agent (dots), is Pro only, and API usage is billed separately from Plus.

How much Codex you get on Plus, and what to do at the limit

Plus includes Codex on the web, in the CLI, in the IDE extension and on iOS; OpenAI pitches it as enough for “a few focused coding sessions each week”. Codex and ChatGPT Work share one allowance, counted per five hours, with possible weekly limits on top. OpenAI’s five-hour estimates in local messages (cloud tasks can use more; these are not fixed caps):

At the limit, buy credits before you upgrade. OpenAI’s docs say Plus and Pro users who reach their limit can buy credits and keep working without changing plan. Included usage goes first, then credits, which last 12 months and work across Codex, ChatGPT Work and ChatGPT for Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Our Codex credits come in packs of 500 for 26.83 USDT, added to your own Plus or Pro account (not Free). OpenAI puts a typical GPT-5.6 Sol task at 2–15 credits, so one pack covers roughly 33–250 such tasks. GPT-6 Sol is cheaper per token in credits (50 input and 250 output per million tokens, against 125 and 750 for the retired GPT-5.5).

When Pro 100 is the better buy: at our prices, Plus with up to 3 packs of credits a month (500 credits each) still costs less than the Pro 100 top-up (126.68 USDT); at 4 or more a month, take Pro 100. OpenAI’s comparison table also shows Go without GPT-6 Sol / GPT-6.1 Sol / GPT-6 Astra, Sites, Developer mode (beta), ChatGPT record mode, Image generation with Thinking and Interactive tables and charts, and with only limited Codex, ChatGPT Work (desktop app only) and Deep research. Who should not buy Plus (honestly):

• Occasional chat and look-ups. Free includes unlimited everyday text chats with GPT-6, subject to abuse guardrails; if you want a bit more, Go is cheaper. You do not need Plus.
• Plus is fine, but Codex runs over now and then. Do not upgrade or buy a second Plus for that; add Codex credits.
• You code all day and hit the five-hour limit almost daily, or need GPT-6 Pro in chat. Go straight to Pro 100; no amount of credits gives Plus the Pro thinking levels.
• You want to split one account between several people. OpenAI’s terms prohibit sharing credentials and reselling access, and shared use is how accounts get restricted.
• You want to pay for a year. Plus is monthly only, and each order here covers 30 days.

Two ways to buy: top-up on your own account, or a ready-made account

Before you order: account state, sign-in data, auto-renewal

Open Settings → My Plan on chatgpt.com and find your row:

• Where the sign-in data comes from: the order page shows you. For ChatGPT it currently asks for a session JSON: sign in to ChatGPT in the same browser, open chatgpt.com/api/auth/session, press Ctrl/Cmd + A and Ctrl/Cmd + C, and paste it into the form. No password is needed.
• Only into the order form: never paste it into a chat window. If the check says the session expired, fetch it again and resubmit.
• One renewal channel at a time: do not keep auto-renewal on at OpenAI or the App Store at the same time, or you may be charged twice. Cancel where you subscribed.
• Unsure? Submit the data anyway: if the check fails, you pay nothing.

How to buy the Plus top-up (6 steps)

1. Check that the account is on Free: Sign in at chatgpt.com and open Settings → My Plan. A Plus top-up needs a Free account; an account whose Plus has expired and dropped back to Free also qualifies. If Plus is still active, wait for it to lapse before ordering Plus, or order a Pro top-up if you actually want to upgrade.
2. Turn off any old auto-renewal: If this account ever subscribed through chatgpt.com, the App Store or Google Play and auto-renewal is still on, switch it off where you subscribed first, or you may be charged twice.
3. Pick the product: On the pricing page choose ChatGPT Plus as a top-up on your own account and check the price and stock.
4. Submit your session: Follow the order page: in the same browser, sign in to ChatGPT, open chatgpt.com/api/auth/session as the order page links it, select and copy all of the JSON, and paste it back into the order form. Paste it only there, never into a chat window.
5. Pay in USDT after the check: Your sign-in data is checked first; if the check fails you pay nothing. Then send exactly the USDT amount shown on TRC20 or BEP20; the amount identifies your order and payment is confirmed automatically.
6. Wait and verify: Delivery usually takes 5–30 minutes. The sign-in data is used once and cleared after delivery, and you keep your password. Confirm Plus under Settings → My Plan.

How to buy a ready-made Plus account (5 steps)

1. On the pricing page choose ChatGPT Plus as a ready-made account (29.66 USDT) and pay in USDT.
2. Enter a delivery email on the order page; Gmail or Outlook work best.
3. Click the verification email Cloudflare sends to it; check spam if it does not arrive. You can change a mistyped address on the order page, and a new address needs verifying again.
4. Our team delivers the account by hand after verification; the order page shows 30 minutes to about 4 hours.
5. Change the password first, then confirm Plus under Settings → My Plan. Per the product description you can bind your own email.

After delivery: four checks

1. Plan: Settings → My Plan shows Plus.
2. Chat: GPT-6 is in the model menu and you can choose Medium and High thinking. If GPT-6 is not there yet, the rollout may not have reached your account.
3. Codex: sign in to Codex on the web, CLI or IDE extension with the same account and pick GPT-6 Sol or another available model. Settings → Usage shows your allowance and reset times (in the Codex app, Usage & Billing).
4. Billing: auto-renewal at chatgpt.com, the App Store or Google Play is off, and you have noted the end date.

Renewals: 30 days per order

• Reminders: emails 7, 3 and 1 day before the order ends.
• Top-up: when Plus expires the account returns to Free; place a new Plus order on the same account at the then-current price, and the sign-in data is checked again.
• Ready-made: message Telegram @ccnb1937 with your order ID and pay the Plus top-up price, ¥185 ≈ 27.58 USDT, 2.09 USDT less than the first month.
• Upgrading mid-month: a Pro top-up works on an active Plus account, and the plan lands on the same account. How the remaining Plus time is handled is up to OpenAI’s billing; we do not promise anything on OpenAI’s behalf.

Is it legit? What is in writing, and what we cannot promise

What we guarantee in writing:

1. Checked before you pay. A top-up checks your sign-in data first, and you pay nothing if it fails; the data is used once and cleared after delivery.
2. One ready-made account, one buyer. Each ready-made account goes to a single buyer, and the order page shows its status at every step.
3. Refund terms are public. If an OpenAI regional policy change makes the service unavailable, you get a refund for the unused days, processed within 1 business day and returned in USDT. Contact the bottom-right live chat promptly if anything goes wrong.
4. So are the exclusions. Bans caused by breaking OpenAI’s usage policy are not refunded.
