Update 2026-10-11: the SuperGrok card on SpaceXSI’s pricing page (x.ai/pricing) now lists the Grok 4.7 model; until October 10 it listed Grok 4.6. The price and the other lines on the card are unchanged. SpaceXSI has published no separate announcement, so we say only that the pricing page lists it as of our 2026-10-11 reading, not that the plan was upgraded on a particular date. The passages below that name SuperGrok’s model have been corrected; nothing about Grok Bot and Claude Opus 5.5 has changed. Separately, as of our 2026-10-11 reading x.ai’s pages present the company as SpaceXSI (they said SpaceXAI through October 10); this article now uses the new name.

What happened on October 7: three reports side by side

So far this rests on Musk’s post on X and media coverage; SpaceXSI has not published anything official. Side by side, the reports separate what is known from what is not:

Source (date)What it reportsWhat it does not say
City AM (October 7)Musk said on X that Grok Bot would use the best back-end model for each task, including Anthropic’s latest Claude Opus, the image generator Midjourney and the music platform Suno, whichever is most likely to give the best outcomeRollout scope, pricing changes
Implicator (October 7)Grok Bot will choose outside providers by task, naming Claude Opus 5.5, Midjourney and Suno; Cursor manages model selection and there is no customer-facing picker; usage analytics show the serving model; billing follows the serving model and the provider mix can change over timeNo fixed assignment, no completed-rollout details, routing tests or third-party API costs, no statement that Grok’s own models are dropped
9to5Mac (October 7)An October backend upgrade has Anthropic’s Claude handling Grok Bot’s intelligence; as of that day Grok Bot can use Claude Opus 5.5Plans, prices, whether you can choose a model
SpaceXSI, official (as of October 9)The October 7 changelog entry, v0.68.1, covers slide decks, formatted emails and a bigger Bot screenNone of the pricing page, Grok Bot page, changelog or docs we read mentions Claude Opus 5.5

What Claude Opus 5.5 is: Anthropic’s newest Opus model, released September 22 according to Implicator. Anthropic says it is the first model in the Claude 5.5 family, performs at the level of Claude Fable 5.1 on most work and costs 40% less to run than Opus 5 (vendor claims). For background, 9to5Mac notes that Anthropic became a SpaceX compute customer this year; Implicator stresses that this compute deal does not set commercial terms for the routing. What Claude subscribers get with it is in Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5.

Five things we don’t know yet, and what they mean for SuperGrok subscribers

  1. No task split. Musk named services for language, images and music but did not say which tasks go where (Implicator). The work you hand over may run on Opus 5.5 or on another model.
  2. No timeline or rollout scope. Implicator says the announcement gives no completed-rollout details; 9to5Mac says it is usable already. Both claims stand; for your account, the usage records are what count.
  3. No manual model choice. There is no customer-facing picker; enterprise teams have a model allowlist, honored by default but not guaranteed (Implicator). As an individual SuperGrok subscriber, your lever is describing the job well and letting the Bot choose.
  4. Billing follows the model. Implicator says billing follows the serving model and the provider mix can change; the official FAQ also says on-demand usage beyond the weekly grant is billed from model and token cost. Our reading: how much a week of included usage buys may vary with the model behind it.
  5. Privacy terms not updated. Implicator notes the security documentation dated September 28 predates the announcement and does not say how its provider terms apply to the newly named services. It says that with a team’s Privacy Mode on, data is not used for training; that under Cursor’s provider agreements prompts and outputs are not retained, except data flagged by abuse or safety checks; and that customers whose contracts restrict subprocessors should talk to their account team first.

What Grok Bot is, in SpaceXSI’s words

Grok Bot is SpaceXSI’s agent app, launched in beta on August 11 and described as AI teammates you can give real work to: you message a Bot like a colleague, it finishes the job on its own computer, and it comes back only when something needs your approval. Since August 26 every SuperGrok plan includes it.

AspectOfficial description
Its own computerA persistent cloud computer per account with browser, filesystem and terminal; jobs and routines keep running when your laptop or phone is off. The docs say these computers run in Cursor’s cloud
Signs into your toolsLog in once and it uses your apps and websites like you would, including platforms with no clean API or MCP; connectors where available, computer use for everything else
RoutinesLet a Bot follow along as you do a job once; it saves the steps as a skill or routine and runs it on a schedule after that
Many BotsRun several Bots in parallel: a chief of staff over specialists for inbox, expenses, recruiting or bug fixes; in a group chat they pass work between themselves and pull you in for judgment calls
MemoryKeeps your preferences, role context and summaries of past work; for important decisions the docs advise asking the Bot to check the current source
PlatformsmacOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android; the same Bots and threads on desktop and phone
Included withSuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Pro, Cursor Pro+, Cursor Ultra, Cursor Teams

Jobs Bots are doing today, as listed in the August 26 post:

  • Sales prospector: researches and enriches accounts, drafts tailored outreach, and leaves every send for you to approve.
  • Website builder: builds the site, buys the domain, deploys it, configures plugins and redirects, and hands you a live URL.
  • Digital declutterer: audits email, cloud drives and paid subscriptions around the clock, and only deletes or unsubscribes if you say so.
  • Customer support: reads support mail, connects to your payments provider and handles routine refunds within your policy.
  • Inbox manager: clears large volumes of email and leaves you only the messages that need a human.
  • Meeting stand-in: joins meetings you can’t make, takes detailed notes and sends a summary.
  • Refunds manager: finds the claim, files it, follows it through and comes back with the refund or discount.

Inside SpaceXSI, per the August 11 post, a sales Bot updates the CRM with call notes and drafts follow-ups, an ops Bot seats new hires and processes invoices from email, and an engineering Bot reproduces a bug in the product, files the ticket and hands the fix to a debugging Bot.

What’s new in Grok Bot lately (official changelog)

Grok Bot ships a release every day or two. The entries since September that matter most to individual users:

DateVersionMain changes

Oct 5v0.68.0Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Swahili and Hausa join the app languages; email drafts can go out from a verified send-as address
Oct 2v0.66.0Your starred primary Bot spots work it can take off your plate and offers to handle it
Sep 29v0.63.0Running out of included usage shows a clear usage-limit notice; Settings → Usage & Billing shows included usage and when it resets
Sep 26v0.61.0Team Bots: publish one Bot for your whole team, each teammate in their own conversation (Teams feature)
Sep 15v0.53.0On a Mac, connect 1Password so your Bot can sign in with saved logins, asking you first by default
Sep 9v0.46.0Usage & Billing shows weekly usage and plan, chat warns you near the weekly limit, and you can set a monthly on-demand limit

Note that the October 7 entry says nothing about a model change, which is one reason we call the routing unconfirmed by SpaceXSI.

What SuperGrok subscribers get: which plans include Grok Bot, and how usage works

SpaceXSI’s pricing page lists “Grok Bot access” among SuperGrok’s features at $30 a month, next to the Grok 4.7 model (on the card as of our 2026-10-11 reading; Grok 4.6 before that), Connectors, Expert, and image and video generation; SuperGrok Plus is $100 a month. The official pricing page does not list a price for SuperGrok Heavy (third-party guides commonly quote $300 a month, which we could not confirm). In Grok Bot the three tiers have the same features and differ in usage:

PlanOfficial priceGrok Bot usage (Cursor help page)Here
SuperGrok$30/monthWeekly usage, below Plus≈ 44.57 USDT a month
SuperGrok Plus$100/monthGenerous, below HeavyNot sold here
SuperGrok HeavyNot listed on the official pricing page (third parties quote $300)Highest of the SuperGrok tiers≈ 297.92 USDT a month
  • Separate usage, weekly reset. The August 11 and August 26 posts both say Grok Bot has its own usage, separate from your Grok plan; the October 7 docs say it resets weekly, and Cursor’s help page adds that it is metered on your Cursor account. No per-tier numbers are published.
  • When it runs out: wait for the weekly reset, or turn on on-demand usage, billed through Cursor from model and token cost; you enable the on-demand monthly limit in Grok Bot’s settings and add a card on the Cursor website if asked. Without on-demand, Grok Bot stops until the reset.
  • No stacking: if you also pay for a Cursor plan, linking SuperGrok adds no usage; the official FAQ says whichever has more usage applies.
  • SuperGrok Lite does not include Grok Bot (Cursor help page). We sell SuperGrok and SuperGrok Heavy, and both do.

One SuperGrok subscription gets you both Grok chat (Grok 4.7, Expert, image and video generation) and Grok Bot. The full four-tier comparison is in SuperGrok vs SuperGrok Heavy.

How a SuperGrok subscriber starts with Grok Bot (5 steps)

  1. Have an active individual SuperGrok or SuperGrok Heavy on your Grok account. If you don’t, we can add it to your own Grok account; see How to buy SuperGrok.
  2. Download Grok Bot from x.ai/bot: macOS (Apple silicon or Intel), Windows (x64 or Arm64) or Linux (deb, rpm or AppImage); on the phone, install it on iPhone, iPad or Android.
  3. Sign in. Grok Bot uses a Cursor account: choose Sign in on the welcome screen, finish in the browser window that opens, and return to the app.
  4. Link SuperGrok. On the Get Started plan screen choose Link Grok Account, sign in to the Grok account that has SuperGrok, and return to confirm access (on the phone: Link Grok Account, then Finished Linking? Refresh My Status). This is permanent, so make sure you are signed in with the Cursor account you intend to keep.
  5. Create a first Bot and give it real work. A short name, one primary job, and a description of how it should work; the first task should span a few tools and have a clear finish line. Check weekly usage and the reset time under Settings → Usage & Billing.

What to watch

  • The link cannot be undone. Cursor’s help page says a SuperGrok link is permanent: it cannot be unlinked or moved to another Cursor account, and support cannot change it.
  • No subscription, no Bot usage. The grant lasts only while SuperGrok is active and is re-checked at each renewal. Each order here covers one month; when it ends, place a new order for the same Grok account (no early renewal).
  • Want Heavy? Start with Heavy. We can only activate free-plan accounts, so an account with SuperGrok still running cannot be topped up to Heavy mid-month.
  • All Bots share one computer. Files, browser sessions and app logins on it are shared by every Bot on your account; the docs say not to treat separate Bots as a security boundary.
  • Add “Ask first” rules for sensitive actions. The docs suggest them for sending, publishing, deleting, purchasing and changing production systems; you type passwords, 2FA codes and CAPTCHAs yourself by taking over the computer.
  • Not every site can be automated. A site may block automation, expire a session or require a human step; the Bot hands that step to you rather than working around it.
  • Outside models and your data. Grok Bot uses Cursor’s account data settings, needs cloud storage and does not support Legacy Privacy Mode; there is no new statement on how the newly named services handle data. Keep anything you would not hand to a third party away from your Bots.

Who it suits, and who it doesn’t

A good fit:

  1. People who repeat the same clicks across web dashboards every day: sales follow-ups, store operations, customer support, small-team owners. SpaceXSI’s own examples (prospecting, support refunds, inbox, meeting notes) are exactly this kind of work.
  2. Anyone already planning to get SuperGrok: one subscription covers Grok chat and Grok Bot.
  3. Heavy Bot users without an easy way to pay on demand: pick Heavy. It carries the highest linked Grok Bot usage of the SuperGrok tiers, and on-demand usage is billed through Cursor and needs a card, so without a working card the weekly grant is your whole budget.

Less of a fit:

  • You need Claude Opus 5.5 specifically. Grok Bot does not let you choose. To be sure you are using Opus 5.5, go to Claude directly: see Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 and Claude Pro or Max without a card.
  • You don’t want an AI acting in your accounts. Then you are buying SuperGrok for Grok itself, and Grok Bot is a bonus.
  • Companies with contractual limits on data processors. Implicator says such customers should talk to their account team before deploying.

Getting SuperGrok or SuperGrok Heavy here

We add the plan to your own Grok account; this is not a ready-made account. The subscription sits on your account, and that is the account you link in Grok Bot.

  • Account requirement: the free plan. An account with an active SuperGrok or other paid subscription cannot be topped up, and there is no early renewal.
  • What you submit: sign in at grok.com in a desktop browser, open https://grok.com/api/auth/session, select all and copy the whole JSON, and paste it only into the order form, never into the support chat.
  • Checked before you pay: the order form checks the format (signed in, account ID, email), and if the format is wrong you are not charged. It is a format check, not a sign-in; the JSON contains no login token.
  • Payment and activation: USDT on TRC20 or BEP20, with the quote valid for 3 hours; after payment our team activates the plan on that account by hand. The JSON is stored encrypted and cleared after the order completes.
  • Renewal: when the month ends, place a new order for the same account.
  • Who we are: ClaudeMax has operated since November 2024 and served more than 20,000 users (our own figure). We are not SpaceXSI or xAI and not an authorized reseller. Contact the bottom-right live chat promptly if anything goes wrong, or Telegram @ccnb1937.

Order now: SuperGrok, ≈ 44.57 USDT. For the most Grok Bot usage: SuperGrok Heavy, ≈ 297.92 USDT. The full walkthrough is in How to buy SuperGrok.
