Purchase route: resolve the account before choosing the size of the plan
  1. 1. Define the work

What output must you finish, using which app and tools?

  2. 2. Check the account

Keep your existing history, receive a separate account, or manage a team workspace?

  3. 3. Confirm the item

Subscription, credit pack, verification help or pre-order: different deliverables.

  4. 4. Accept the delivery

Check the actual account, plan, expiry and workflow; a payment receipt is only one stage.

Original decision diagram. Follow the stages in order; stop before paying when eligibility, delivery or refund terms remain unclear.

1. Buy an outcome, then identify the product

A useful purchase question is concrete: “I need to maintain a repository for two hours each evening” or “two colleagues need separate workspace access.” “I want the strongest AI” leaves the account, tools, limits and deliverable undefined. A larger plan can still be the wrong product if the workflow needs a local computer that is offline, a connector you have not authorized, or a separate API organization.

Write down one representative task, the required app, the files involved and the evidence that would make the result acceptable. Compare that task with the workflow article before selecting a tier. A subscription is one input to the work; it does not replace review, permissions or a reliable delivery path.

The current catalog contains subscriptions on an existing account, separately delivered accounts, Business seats, a Codex credit item and verification assistance. Some familiar names in older blog posts may no longer be on sale. The live product card and the order page determine the item you can actually buy today.

2. Five different purchases that should not be confused

Read the noun after the plan name. An own-account top-up preserves the account you already control, subject to its eligible state. A ready-made item delivers a different account. A Business seat belongs to an organization/workspace purchase, while a credit pack is a metered balance. Verification help is a service with a provider-controlled result.

The comparison below describes delivery categories, not an assertion that every item is currently in stock. It also does not imply that a merchant can waive a provider’s terms. When the catalog and an old article disagree, inspect the current card and ask for a written clarification before creating a new order.

PurchaseWhat you should receiveWhat it does not establish
Own-account subscriptionA matching subscription on the eligible target accountA new account, automatic history transfer or restriction removal
Separate / ready-made accountThe stated account plus any item-specific activation stepsA merged account or permanent immunity from review
Business seatsAn owner/workspace arrangement and the selected seat combinationSeveral people sharing one personal login
Codex creditsThe selected number of credit packs on an eligible accountMonthly subscription days or general-purpose API cash
Verification assistanceThe assistance and appointment described by the serviceGuaranteed KYC approval, CVP membership or every model entitlement

3. If your history matters, check own-account eligibility first

An existing account may contain useful conversations, Projects, workspace membership and settings. Start from whether that account can log in normally and whether its current billing channel is compatible with the product. “It is my account” does not mean every top-up is available on it. Free, active paid, expired paid and app-store subscriptions are different states.

For example, the current ChatGPT Plus top-up is intended for an account in the Free state or with an expired Plus subscription; the Pro items have their own stated eligible states. Claude Max cards impose payment-history and active-subscription conditions. These are this shop’s fulfillment requirements, not universal rules for every official purchase route. Use the actual pre-payment check and the current order instructions. Credential pre-check verifies access; it does not independently establish every product eligibility condition.

A blocked account, unfinished identity check or unsupported location calls for diagnosis first. Paying for a larger plan does not repair those states. Do not cancel a useful subscription or delete account data merely to experiment with purchase eligibility; first obtain a clear explanation of the exact incompatibility and the intended next step.

4. A separate account has a separate handover and activation

Choose a separate account only when a genuinely separate workspace is useful and you meet the applicable provider requirements. It is not a way to merge history or assume that an unresolved restriction has disappeared. Keep personal and business data separate until you have checked the received account, recovery options and the terms governing its use.

The delivery email is where the order is sent; it is not necessarily the same event as changing the provider account’s sign-in email. Read the item’s instructions, verify the intended delivery address, and distinguish “account received” from “plan active.” The Claude Pro ready-made item specifically requires you to sign in and submit its Organization ID through the order page to complete activation, with no second payment.

After handover, follow the supported password and recovery steps, verify the correct organization, and run a harmless task. Never post credentials, sessions, cookies, identity documents or recovery codes in public comments. If any step differs from the promised delivery, retain the order ID and ask support about that exact step rather than placing a duplicate order.

5. Upgrade only the bottleneck you can identify

Separate capability, allowance and speed. A task may fail because the required tool is absent, the account has run out of a particular allowance, or the workflow repeatedly restarts without a usable result. Paying for more allowance addresses only some of those problems. Product names and old “x-times” descriptions are not reliable forecasts of how many tasks your repository will finish.

Before upgrading, keep a short work log: task type, app, model or mode where visible, whether the run was interrupted by a limit, and whether the output passed review. Use your own recent work to compare the cost of interruptions with the price difference. This is a planning exercise, not a benchmark; record missing information instead of inventing a success rate.

API rights need a separate check. Some qualifying Claude plans can include monthly API credits after linking the relevant Console organization, with their own eligibility and exclusions. That does not turn all subscription activity into API billing, and an API key does not automatically use your chat allowance. Confirm the exact sign-in and billing route before a developer workload starts.

OpenAI also offers conditional API credits for eligible Pro and Business subscribers. Check the subscription age, account and organization ownership, matching email and current exclusions. Those credits exclude Codex API-key usage and do not increase ChatGPT or signed-in Codex plan limits; a conditional API benefit is different from the Codex credit item sold here.

6. Read the exceptions: credits, seats, verification and pre-orders

The Codex item is sold by pack: one current unit is 500 credits, and the selector multiplies both quantity and total. Three packs mean 1,500 credits, not three subscription months. Check the account’s supported state, where the balance will appear and the applicable validity rules before purchase; do not convert credits into a guaranteed number of coding tasks.

ChatGPT Business is a team purchase. The current selector requires at least two seats in total and supports the offered standard/premium combination. Read the whole-order total and who receives owner access, then check member management and the intended data settings. A seat count and a personal Pro allowance solve different needs.

KYC and Daybreak items describe assistance or an appointment. Your own authentic information and the provider’s eligibility rules remain decisive. The Cyber Blue ready-made card is a pre-order with its own 1–3-day stated window; it must not inherit the general ready-made delivery estimate. If a specialized access feature is essential to your work, ask exactly what the item delivers and how that entitlement will be checked.

7. Compare the whole cost without freezing a price

Use the live catalog rather than a screenshot to record the item price, billing unit, selected quantity, payment currency and exact order quote. Chinese and overseas routes can use different payment methods. A displayed CNY amount, an estimated USDT equivalent, the order’s exact payable amount and a provider’s public USD list price are different figures.

A useful worksheet is: total planned cost = item total + disclosed payment/network costs + separately approved extras. Separately record the account migration effort and the cost of work interrupted during delivery. Those latter values are estimates for your decision, not additional merchant charges. Avoid comparing a two-seat monthly total with a one-person headline price.

If you already have a subscription, confirm how the original billing channel will be handled before arranging another payment. Do not assume a top-up automatically cancels App Store, Google Play or a card renewal. Keep the original order identity if money has already been sent; contact support about an expired quote or mismatch instead of paying a replacement order blindly.

8. Three worked decisions, without invented benchmarks

Case A: an individual has useful ChatGPT history, can log in and is doing occasional research and coding. First check whether the present plan already supports the required workflow. If more usage is necessary, compare an eligible own-account item with the actual interruption pattern. A separate account adds migration work and should not be the default simply because its card is convenient.

Case B: a Claude user sees a verification screen or a suspension notice. The first purchase decision is to pause. Classify the message, retain a redacted record and use the official verification or appeal path. Assistance can be considered after its scope is understood; a bigger subscription is not evidence that access will return.

Case C: two colleagues need individual membership and an administrator. Compare the Business seat arrangement with two personal subscriptions, considering required controls and the actual seat total. Do not make them share a personal login. For a solo developer with only an occasional Codex shortfall, a credit pack may instead match the problem more closely; verify the current usage rules before deciding.

9. Complete this pre-payment check

Make the purchase reviewable in one short record. Name the exact item and target account, the state required by the card, what will be delivered, who must perform the next action, and the expected window measured from the correct starting event. “After paying” may be incomplete if the process also needs email verification, an appointment or an Organization ID.

Read the after-sales policy before a new order. The current Chinese catalog says ready-made items are non-refundable once sold and normally usable accounts do not qualify for a no-reason or mid-month cancellation refund; it also excludes specified account-restriction losses. Do not infer a blanket money-back guarantee from marketing language. For an existing order, use its original records and previously confirmed commitments rather than applying today’s article retroactively.

  • The exact item, target account and required current account state are clear.
  • Separate-account history and recovery consequences are understood.
  • Quantity, seat mix, billing unit and the order’s payable amount agree.
  • Delivery email, any activation step and the item-specific timeframe are clear.
  • The current after-sales terms, renewal route and contact method have been read.
  • No unresolved regional, identity, access or authority condition is being treated as solved by payment.

10. Accept the delivery in stages

A successful payment page establishes payment status; it does not prove delivery. First check the order record, then the correct email or target account, then the actual plan, credited balance or workspace seat. Check the date or period shown by the relevant surface, and retain a redacted record. Do not accept a screenshot from a different organization as proof that your own workspace is ready.

Run one harmless representative task using non-sensitive test data. For a subscription, confirm the expected app and tools where available. For credits, confirm the balance in the relevant usage surface. For Business, confirm owner/member access. For assistance, compare the completed actions with the agreed scope without pretending that the merchant controls the provider’s review outcome.

When something does not match, state the failed stage precisely. Give support the order ID, time, product and redacted message; use the protected order channel for anything sensitive. Stop duplicate payments and preserve the original evidence. A second purchase should be a deliberate new decision, not an unverified repair attempt.

11. Decide renewal while the original order is still accessible

Record the actual expiry and the renewal route in your order notes. Own-account top-ups and separately delivered accounts do not necessarily share the same renewal action. The current shop provides an existing-customer renewal route for its eligible delivered accounts; product-specific pricing and exceptions must be checked on that order. A first-purchase price is not a permanent renewal quote.

Before renewal, ask whether the same account still meets the conditions and whether the original task still needs the same allowance. Do not discard a working account or buy another one just because an old blog says a larger tier is fashionable. Keep your account, billing-channel and order records consistent, and seek clarification before expiry if the displayed state is ambiguous.

12. Turn the decision into the right catalog visit

You are ready to choose when the intended workflow, account, item, delivery and acceptance checks agree. Open the matching product card, compare its current price and stock, and read the whole description. The catalog links in this article point to stable product identifiers so you can inspect the exact item rather than a generic promotional landing page.

If you cannot yet fill the worksheet, use the live chat on the site with a non-sensitive description of your need. Ask for the missing condition in writing. A good buying decision produces a product you can receive, verify and renew under understood terms; that is a more useful goal than selecting the largest name on the page.
